To be honest, I've never seen a single film with Godzilla =). But it doesn't keep me from liking the genre.
Mothra vs. Godzilla was made in 1964. It is the fourth film about the giant monster, and the first one introducing another monster to fight with Godzilla.
The plot is simple: a greedy developer has placed huge machines to suck dry a part of the ocean near Tokyo, so he can put luxury condos there. After a storm, a giant egg washes up on the beach nearby and is immediately put on public display. The developer's plans go awry when he disrupts Godzilla's rest and the monster goes stomping through Tokyo again. It's up to the Mothra, whose egg was found on the beach, to save Tokyo from destruction.
Będę szczera: nigdy nie widziałam żadnego filmu z Godzillą =). Nie powstrzymuje mnie to jednak przed lubieniem tego gatunku.
Mothra kontra Godzilla został nakręcony w 1964 r. Jest to czwarty film o wielkim potworze i pierwszy, w którym wprowadzony został inny potwór do walki z Godzillą.
Fabuła jest dość prosta: zachłanny deweloper postanowił osuszyć część oceanu w pobliżu Tokio, żeby zdobyć miejsce na zbudowanie luksusowych apartamentów. Po sztormie, woda wymywa na brzeg ogromne jajo, które zostaje od razu wystawione na widok publiczny. Plany dewelopera spalają na panewce, gdy narusza spokój Godzilli, która to wyrusza w kierunku miasta. Jedynym ratunkiem okazuje się Mothra, do której -- jak się okazuje -- należy jajo z plaży.
