This is Izola, an old fishing city in Slovenia on the Adriatic coast of the Istrian peninsula. Its history reaches 2nd century BC, when the Romans built in this place a port and a settlement known as Haliaetum. A thermal spring was discovered in Izola in 1820, which made it a popular tourist destination. Today, the city has 14000 inhabitants.
